AVerMedia is looking for a Technical Marketing Specialist to join our team. This person will advocate for users internally to the product development team, and help sales and marketing team better understand benefits of products, create training material, and assist and represent AVerMedia at events.

To succeed in this role, you need not only the technical knowledge and deep understanding of our products, but also exceptional communication skill to work with both our users and internal cross-functional team. Lastly, you should be equally passionate as we are here in AVerMedia to empower people to easily connect and boldly create.

Responsibilities and Expectations :

  • Monitor online review on e-tail sites and respond to users' questions on social platform and forums to ensure timely response
  • Identify issues, and communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve our customer experience
  • Draft FAQ and response guidelines, and identify documentation needs
  • Create content to help users understand the products and benefit, ie. How-to video
  • Create product and training material for internal teams, end users and trade partners
  • Supports media, influencer and brand partners on products set up and troubleshooting
  • Advocate for community interests in product planning
  • Measure, monitor and build comprehensive reporting on online sentiment, user reviews, issues, and insights for monthly and quarterly report to share across the organization

Essential Skills and Experience :

  • 2-3 yearsโ€™ experience in a technical support function
  • Strong familiarity and knowledge of broadcast and collaboration technology platforms and tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and multi-task independently to deliver on goals
  • Passion and desire to win and a team player that enjoys collaborating with a diverse, multiethnic team
