A new position will be added to Astralis Group’s social media team! The role will cover both teams and corporate channels and requires in-depth knowledge of the esports and gaming industry, focus on quality - and a great sense of humor.

Job description

You will be a part of the Digital Group, working closely with the Head of Digital and colleagues across the organization. You will be coordinating and running the daily social media activities on all channels in the Astralis Group portfolio including any commercial activations together with our Community Managers. You will also be traveling with the Astralis Group teams as deemed necessary.

Responsibilities

Astralis Group owns and operates several different esports brands and media channels, each with its own identity and peak season. We service a range of stakeholders and not many days are alike. Together with relevant departments, you will be responsible for a range of different tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Planning and executing social media activities based on existing strategies and editorial plans
  • Distributing content on all platforms, including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, websites
  • Collaborate with the creative team for content ideation and creation
  • Produce, edit, publish and share engaging content
  • Activating commercial obligations on social media
  • Creating commercial content with and for partners
  • Monitor and analyze social data and traffic, creating social media reports
  • Community Management
  • Paid advertising
  • Light graphics design responsibilities
  • Assist the content team in various creative tasks
  • Content production and team management duties at events
  • Ad hoc tasks

Requirements and skills

Professional

  • Photoshop
  • Lightroom (or other photo editing tool)
  • Facebook Business Manager/Creator Studio

Personal

  • Proven work experience as a social media responsible
  • Hands-on experience in content management
  • Great copywriting skills
  • Creative mindset - quick-witted
  • A great sense of storytelling
  • Self-taught memer
  • On top of the latest digital trends
  • Preferred experience with YouTube management and organization
  • Good communication skills and fluency in English, both written and oral (Danish and Spanish is a plus)
  • You are a positive and committed self-starter, structured and a fast learner with a keen eye for detail
  • Experience with and in-depth insights to esports is a must. This especially includes CS:GO, League of Legends and FIFA
  • Have the ability to travel when needed
