The Lead Architect is responsible for leading globally the execution of the architectural vision and strategy across the Aristocrat Interactive Gaming Systems organization. This includes ensuring that the software products architecture aligns with business goals, being a technical leader and mentor to the architecture and development team, and driving innovation in technology solutions. The role requires close collaboration with stakeholders across the business to ensure technology investments and designs are scalable, secure, and sustainable. This position will be responsible for driving technical efficiencies throughout our development process.
What You'll Do
Lead all aspects of architectural design end to end cutting across product lines, including conceptual studies, programming, schematic documents, design development documents, and construction documents.
Validate that code implementation matches agreed technical design.
Drive technical discussions and initiatives across Aristocrat internal organizations.
Develop strong relationships with Aristocrat Interactive technical leaders, product leaders, and Aristocrat technical teams.
Perform technology/tools assessments and provide recommendations based on required product capabilities.
Be a forward-looking leader, keep up to date with technology trends with an eye on what benefits the business, and provide recommendations.
Own responsibility for overall client satisfaction, design quality, and profitability of all projects undertaken that contribute to Gaming Systems’ strategic priorities.
Manage and mentor a team of architects fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning while supporting global development teams across multiple time zones. Build a culture of high-touch-high-performance culture.
Ensure and validate core principles around cybersecurity, ease of deployment, and infrastructure cost efficiencies as part of the technical design and implementation.

What We're Looking For
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science.
20+ years of experience in software development with at least 10+ years in software architecture, and people management experience.
5+ years functioning as a global technical leader.
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
Great influencer to development teams, driving desired outcomes.
Strong design and presentation skills along with analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Design experience with various technologies such as C#, .NET Core, SQL Server, Postgres, Java, JavaScript, Angular, ESB, Rest APIs, Caching
Ability to interact professionally with leadership, support staff, and clients.
Ability to direct and motivate the work efforts of others and handle stressful situations.
Ability to self-manage and manage others for multiple project assignments from start to finish.
