Aquiris is looking for a professional with a passion for procedural art to join our team and work on an exciting unannounced multiplatform project (Mobile, PC, and Console). This person will work with our talented team to create procedural and painted textures, being versatile and comfortable to explore new styles and techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce 3D content of scenarios or characters, based on concepts, to be used directly in the engine;
  • Add models and textures to the engine used by the project;
  • Update your tasks in the project management platform;
  • Collaborate in project development dynamics such as Brainstorms, Storymaps, Syncs, AllHands, Playtests, etc;
  • Follow pre-established technical and artistic direction in the project for production of models, textures and materials;
  • Have a good predictability regarding the result expected by the art direction and project technique;
  • Brief, follow up, and give feedback on third-party deliveries;
  • Follow the feedbacks in order to achieve the result expected by the art direction and technique established for the project;
  • Follow the organization of files, folders and nomenclatures according to the structure defined in the project;
  • Implement and test the assets in the engine to verify if they are working correctly;
  • Elaborate documentation and work processes following the lead's guidance;
  • Perform tasks with independence (technical);
  • Contribute with estimates for delivery of tasks in the area.

Requirements

  • Domain of the 3D art production process for games;
  • Lowpoly/Highpoly modeling, Uvs and Textures (Handpainted/Photobased and Bakes);
  • Domain some 3D sculpting software and know different digital sculpting processes for organic and inorganic objects;
  • Dominate PBR texture concepts;
  • Dominate the implementation of 3D models in the engine;
  • Understand concepts of art;
  • Color Theory, Anatomy, Composition and Light;
  • Experience with Substance Designer

Major Pluses:

  • At least 3 years producing 3D art for games with a commercial purpose.

The presentation of a portfolio or produced material is mandatory for the application.
