We are seeking a Senior Analyst to join our financial team based in Palo Alto, reporting to the Senior Director of FP&A. The Senior Analyst’s primary responsibilities will be to assist in the reporting of monthly and quarterly results for both internal management and external stakeholders (board and public reporting). This individual will also assist the Game Studio Finance team with the ongoing budgeting / forecasting processes. You should be comfortable partnering with other business constituents and building relationships across departments. This role requires a highly analytical person with expertise in Excel modeling and strong accounting / financial knowledge.

Job responsibilities:
- Support monthly and quarterly internal reporting such as budget vs. actual analysis including investigation of underlying drivers
- Assist with periodic financial analysis for internal and external reporting including software renewal rates, price / volume, and gaming metrics (eg DAU/MAU, ARPMAP, etc.)
- Assist with ongoing budget / forecast revisions including by-game financial forecasts
- Support and maintain executive financial reporting summaries and dashboards developing meaningful insights and actionable recommendations
- Build and maintain ad hoc analysis to support accounting conclusions such as average customer life and intangible asset impairment
- Identify areas to improve on the effectiveness of financial planning activities, including timelines, tools and methods to reflect changing business needs & strategic priorities
- Assist in short and long-term planning cycles
- Ad hoc financial analysis including modeling for acquisitions and strategic decision support
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field; preferably Finance, Banking, or similar fields
- 3-5 years relevant work experience in FP&A or banking
- Attention to detail, good at problem solving including the ability to define possible solutions, foresee issues and provide proactive solutions to closure
- Consistent track record of strong organizational skills
- Experience working with and in a cross-functional team
- Entrepreneurial spirit, hands-on, results-oriented and self-motivated
- Analytical skills, flexibility, and creativity
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment with dynamic expectations
- Must be able to work independently; Strong sense of ownership and accountability
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
- Must have skills: Advanced Excel / Powerpoint and Tableau or other BI reporting software
- Nice to have but not required: Experience with mobile gaming and/or software; Adaptive Insights planning or other FP&A software; Netsuite or other similar accounting software
