Please note: *This is a contracted position for two months*
Role Summary: We're expanding our creative and marketing department, and we're looking to hire a part-time video editor that is passionate about all things gaming, esports, and all things nerdy.
Please note that this role work hours are primarily during the weekend.
Responsibilities of the position:
- Available to work approximately 20-25 hours per weekend (+week)
- Experience editing video with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or another equivalent video editing software
- Be comfortable and productive working remote, independently and as a part of a team
- Access to a computer with a stable internet connection
- Edit 4-5 short(up to 1min) videos a day
What we need to see:
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- 1-2 years of experience as a video editor or content producer.
- Enjoys FPS titles such as Call of Duty, CSGO, Apex Legends, Overwatch,etc.
- Sharp eye for viral/visual content
- Ability to work quickly and juggle multiple varied tasks during a typical workday.
- You are passionate about the gaming and esports space and keep up with trending topics and best practices.
- Appreciation for and understanding of internet pop culture, entertainment, gaming, and/or the creative space.
- Track record of successful production for other media outlets/channels.
