OEM Marketing Manager – LATAM Region

The LATAM Regional OEM Marketing Manager is responsible for maintaining open lines of communication between AMD Global Marketing Teams, AMD Global OEM Marketing, and our Regional OEM customers.

The person:

The ideal candidate for this role is a high energy and results-oriented marketing professional with strong communication skills and business acumen, able to orchestrate cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and build solid relationships with strategic customers and partners.

Key responsibilities:

  • Crafting strong linkages into OEM’s regional consumer and commercial marketing engines
  • Maintaining alignment between regional OEM partners, AMD global OEM GTM and regional marketing on launch roadmaps for consumer, commercial and graphics products.
  • Working in lockstep with AMD global OEM GTM team and regional marketers to apply, customize and optimize marketing programs designed to drive sales volume and velocity through several channels (online, email, social, events, retail, training, and more!)
  • Aggregating regional launch and retail plans and communicating those plans to regional and global OEM teams
  • Cultivating, broadening, and deepening OEM regional partner relationships
  • Fulfilling requests for information related to Latin America Regional Marketing, insuring timely responses back to the customer
  • Supporting regional OEM consumer, commercial and graphics product events
  • Supporting AMD Global OEM Marketing with regional specific requests for information.
  • Align and lead AMD planning cycles with OEMs’ regional timelines.

Preferred experience:

  • Detailed understanding of current marketing strategies, tactics, trends, especially digital
  • Prepared to jump in, take the lead, learn - and encourage others - to produce outstanding and impactful marketing work
  • Creative problem solving and accountability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to deal with ambiguous situations
  • Confidence in public speaking situations
  • Customer focus and follow through a must.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize multiple accounts and tasks optimally

Academic credentials:

  • Bachelor's degree on marketing or computer science and 5+ years of experience in a customer facing marketing role, with account management experience.
  • Native Spanish or Portuguese and English full professional proficiency.
