The Alexa Games team is looking for a Senior Games Producer to help create fun, rich, multimodal gaming experiences. You will work alongside other producers, designers, researchers, product management, and engineering to drive the design, production and launch of digital games. This position requires the ability to dive deep, invent, and be relentlessly curious about customer needs and how we can bring solutions to life. You are highly motivated to explore new opportunities along the way, consistently raising the bar for what’s possible.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive planning and execution for the design, production and release of new games. The Producer is responsible for the timely delivery and overall quality of the game.
  • Create the goals, roadmap and metrics for success for new games. Develop and maintain the resourcing plan, schedule, budget, processes and metrics to measure success. Work effectively cross functionally to drive creative and technical trade offs to inform the plan.
  • Drive execution of the design, production and release plan. Ensure teams hit deadlines and work collaboratively to deliver the original creative and technical vision for the game. Problem solve, simplify and adjust as needed to deliver our goals.
  • Oversee production with external design and production partners. Create detailed production plans including schedules, key milestones and budgets for external partners that drive alignment with our goals. Oversee external partners through regular reviews, stand-ups and bug burn-downs to ensure they deliver on time at high quality and in-line with the creative and technical vision for a game.
  • Support external partners by answering creative or technical questions either directly or by putting them in touch with the right internal expert, on-boarding the partner onto Amazon systems and providing prototype hardware.
  • Drives communication internally across team(s) and leadership on game status.
  • Create tools and workflow processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness to meet goals.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology
  • Experience with end to end product delivery
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition
  • Proven track record of successfully shipping multiple projects across different platforms (PC, console, mobile, etc)
  • Able to work in a diverse team

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in game design, design, computer science, or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams of designers, artists and developers to launch products/games on tight deadlines.
  • Experience shipping products and services in an early stage and quickly evolving environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive actions.
  • Demonstrated ability to weigh competing needs and make trade-offs using data and analysis to drive decisions across a broad cross functional group of stakeholders.
  • Experience managing licensed property relationships
  • Experience managing external vendors
  • Passion for digital media and gaming.
