Degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience
Experience leading a group of software engineering members and teams in building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.
Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing Software Development Engineers.
Demonstrable knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle.
Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy.
A proven track record of software delivery through all phases of development and developing long-term development and business technology strategies.

As a software development manager for one of the teams within the Video Quality Analysis organization, you will be responsible for leading a group of engineers helping to ensure Prime Video customers experience the highest quality video even as the service scales to content from any source, available on any device, anywhere. You will play a key role, cooperating with teams across Amazon to deliver software products and features to the highest quality. You will use a wide range of technologies, devices, services, and systems. Your responsibilities will include all aspects of software engineering. Hands-on expertise in many technologies across the full stack, typically ranging from front-end user interfaces through to back-end systems and data stores and all points in between.
Technical experience of engineering scalable event-driven systems and processing large data sets.
Experience delivering innovative solutions with Machine Learning and Computer Vision.
