Prime Gaming, Amazon Prime's program for anyone who enjoys playing or watching games, needs a Senior Product Manager to raise the bar for how our international customers enjoy. If you love games and can deliver excellent products, read on! Inspire billions of game players worldwide by bringing them new waves of loot and fresh experiences. Your mission, if you choose to accept, is to deliver joy to Prime members around the world through game content from upcoming and popular video games.

You will be joining the fast growing, quickly evolving Customer Experience team, so the ability to dive in and impact new product development is critical. To be successful in this opportunity, you will know how to leverage your product management and business background to deliver impactful projects and features to cross functional teams and stakeholders. You are able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and resolve ambiguity or competing priorities. This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done. As a leader, you will anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance current and future business needs versus customer desires.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining and launching products and features that will position our business to expand globally on a massive scale. You will enable this scale by shipping features that improve and broaden our value proposition for our game player customers. The target opportunity is massive, but also ambiguous so you should be able to clarify, simplify, and prioritize. At the core of the role is how to best adapt and scale Prime Gaming across a range of distinct geographic & cultural markets where Amazon currently operates or plans to enter. All while having fun.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of product management, software engineering, or technology
  • 5+ years of experience with end to end product delivery, from idea creation/definition through launch
  • 5+ years of experience negotiating and guiding product roadmap and strategy discussions with cross-functional stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives
  • A proven track record of building new, innovative, and engaging customer experiences informed by customer data and anecdotes
  • Ability to leverage analytic and quantitative skills and use data and metrics to back up assumptions, make recommendations, and influence actions (preference for SQL)
  • Experience working globally, for a global customer base
  • MBA preferred
