Amazon's Digital Software and Video Game (DSV) team is on a mission to build the best place on earth for consumers to buy video games and software. We are building a next generation platform to become the best possible connection between producers and consumers of digital software and video games content.

In this role, you will deep dive into a fun industry and understand the behavior of a passionate group of customers, researching innovative ways to reach and delight them. As the Senior Product Manager, you will own the end to end customer experience for customers shopping for digital software and video games. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a degree of ambiguity and willing to develop quick proof of concepts, iterate and improve. The ideal candidate has a track record for thinking big, being customer obsessed and delivering results.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Defining a world-class customer experience for shopping Digital Software and Video Games on Amazon, researching and identifying new opportunities for Amazon to distinguish itself as a destination for buying digital software and games
  • Establishing the product mission, goals, and supporting business metrics and indicators for success
  • Creating buy-in for this product vision and strategy, setting priorities and communicating across global business partners and stakeholders
  • Writing product requirements documents and ensuring clear communication and coordination of requirements to the business, design and development teams.
  • Coordinating multinational and cross functional team to launch and track product launches
  • Tracking, diving deep, and communicating business metrics to senior stakeholders
  • Developing the product roadmap and managing prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, site performance and operational support load.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5-plus years product management or related experience
  • Experience working in a global environment
  • Proven track record of translating customer needs into business/product requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, schedule tradeoffs and opportunistic new ideas with technical employees
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work successfully with teams across the organization, including Engineering, Design, Program Management and Senior Leadership
  • Comfort rolling up sleeves to perform quantitative analysis and reach sound conclusions

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA from a recognized university
  • Experience managing technical products or online services, launching start to finish consumer-facing online/mobile products/services.
  • Technical fluency; comfort understanding and discussing architectural concepts, schedule trade-offs and new opportunities with technical team members
