Amazon Games is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead our advertising technology team. Join us to help create next-generation marketing technologies for the game developer community.

We are looking for an expert in user acquisition and advertising technologies for performance marketers, preferably for free-to-play games or mobile applications at large scale. In this role, you will combine massive audiences, proprietary data, and Amazon advertising and machine learning technologies to enable marketers to drive user acquisition for console, mobile, and PC games. You will build and operate a platform that delivers world-class optimization for price, relevance, and reach. You will become a recognized thought leader in the industry and will influence game teams to use the platform effectively to improve acquisition and monetization.

The role requires in-depth understanding of customer needs, product requirements, technical designs, and operations. A successful candidate will have a strong track record of delivery in terms of features, pace, and quality, and making the correct tradeoffs among competing ends. This leader will build a strategy focused on growing scale and usage for existing customers at the same time as creating new features to delight an ever-expanding set of new customers.

Your Responsibilities Would Be

  • Build strong relationships with internal and external game studio leaders.
  • Learn through those relationships what game developers need to grow their business, and write a clear vision to meet those needs.
  • Launching is your driving ambition, so you will begin execution immediately.
  • Growing your product through every step, you'll continually deliver value for game developers.
  • Measure what is needed to make decisions, and how to increase game developer's success.
  • Communicate clearly with our partners, your peers, and our leadership team.

Please note that this role has flexibility to be based out of Seattle, San Francisco, or San Diego.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related discipline.
  • 8+ years of product management.
  • 8+ years in product/software engineering or consulting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Product management in advertising technology (e.g. ad network, ad server, attribution, DSP, marketing automation, mediation)
  • Proven ability to invent, design, develop, iterate, and grow new products
  • Experience designing or building and shipping successful software products at scale.
  • Experience defining user experience, developer APIs and running A/B tests.
  • Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role.
  • Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role.
