Amazon Advertising is growing its online advertising program and is seeking an experienced Ad Operations Manager who will be responsible for building and developing an overseas team of Ad Operations traffickers, to support a global ad operations business. The Ad Operations Manager plays an important role within our global operations team by driving team performance and ensuring flawless execution through operational excellence. This role requires experience in a heavily process driven environment. This team will deliver results by providing operational support to uphold a high quality customer and advertiser experience. This manager will leverage their experience and judgment to grow and mentor a team of campaign managers supporting Twitch advertising as part of Amazon advertising.

Responsibilities

  • Establish fluency with Twitch as a global community and multiplayer entertainment platform.
  • Challenge the status quo, finding ways to improve processes and technologies enabling your team to perform at a high standard
  • Deliver against targets on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
  • Hire, groom, and grow talent
  • Resource management and planning
  • Define and assess team performance against business objectives, providing guidance, coaching and performance feedback to the team
  • Deeply understand ad technologies as it pertains to Twitch, Amazon, and campaign management workflows
  • Lead ad-hoc projects to improve processes and maintain ad-serving capabilities

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of work experience, 4-7 years of experience in digital advertising operations and with at least a 2 years of people management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree; emphasis in marketing, advertising or business preferred
  • Excellent coaching skills and proven ability to lead teams through ambiguity and change
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate large teams to deliver consistently over and above their core
  • Ability to work/hone a diverse and inclusive atmosphere
  • Ability to write documents & should demonstrate excellent presentation/orientation/convincing skills

  • A deep understanding of the ad serving and order management ecosystem
  • Project Management experience would be an add-on
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving capabilities
  • Strong organizational, analytic and quantitative skills
