Description

Are you passionate about building scalable features and running marketing programs that optimise customers’ shopping journey on Amazon? We are looking for an experienced senior manager to lead a multi-functional team of Product Managers, Market Managers and Business Intelligence to do just that. As Head of Marketing for Hardlines & Entertainment Media UK, you will champion the end-to-end customer journey - from identifying customer insights, developing new opportunities to add increased value for customers, as well as driving adoption and scale for existing features. Working across 18 categories and collaborating pan-EU, you will simultaneously balance experimentation with operational scale through automation. Our mind set is to test & learn fast, with a view to rapid expansion across categories and geographies for successful ideas.

You will lead a team of 10+ across multiple work streams (e.g. Category & Vendor Marketing, Traffic generation & Customer Acquisition, Customer & Business Insights) to drive growth, delight customers and optimise for the long term (e.g. High Value Actions). You will be channel- and program- agnostic, adopting and guiding best practice, whilst keeping team goals and end consumers at the heart of everything you do. To be successful, you’ll use your functional knowledge and ability to influence without authority to work across a diverse set of stakeholders (Category Leaders, Amazon Vendor Services, X-Site Marketing, Business Development and Tech to name a few) and categories (from Toys & Games to Workwear & Tools; from Electronics to Garden Ornaments; from Sports Apparel to Video Games, Music and Film). You’ll also be comfortable with new technologies, become recognised as an expert in your field and be able to stretch a high performing team, whilst supporting them to fulfil their career ambitions.

Reporting into the Director for UK Hardlines Marketing/Toys/Sports, this is a pivotal leadership role shaping the future of category marketing and partnering closely with Amazon teams across EU, US and emerging locales.
