DESCRIPTION

Do you have the drive to change the world through how people connect and engage with games? Do you have the business background, technical depth, and communication skills needed to help further establish Amazon as the leader in the Games industry?

AWS is looking for a Partner leader who understands business and technology trends impacting the Games industry, and is passionate and capable of collaborating and building business with partners globally. You will be responsible for defining the overall strategy and plan, and leading engagement with top technology and consulting companies. You will collaborate with partners to bring innovative solutions to customers, to help them engage with and nurture their clients, differentiate their offerings, and grow their business.

This role has global responsibility, working closely with teams across AWS including product management, partner development managers, solution architects, professional services, and our sales teams. You will be the face to the industry of the AWS partner team and solutions, building and maintaining engagement with executives at top partners including engaging with AWS senior leadership, and representing AWS in media coverage and industry events. You are located in a US city (relocation not required for this role).

The ideal candidate is an accomplished leader with a thorough understanding of technology in the Games industry, experienced at building a partner ecosystem with solutions or innovation programs, and with the presence to engage with decision makers at the executive level. You have a proven track record of leading and driving multiple complex programs to meet business objectives, a customer-obsessed and collaborative approach, a strong data and metrics bias, and a passion for helping game companies innovate and create new and exciting player experiences.

We are always looking to improve and we also recognize there are many ways to lead and partner. We’re looking for a Think Big leader who can add to our company skillset by bringing their unique industry knowledge and creativity to our organization.

At Amazon, we live our professional lives by the Leadership Principles. When we hire, we look for those who are Amazonian rather than for someone who fits an exact resume mold. To us, diversity in thought and experience is a good thing. We are hiring for attitude and training for skill because we recognize success takes many paths. While possessing the above criteria would be helpful, if you have a passion for customer success in Games - we want to talk to you. We are looking for someone who can help us create the next version of what it means to be a great partner. We will coach the right fit.
