Software Development Engineer
Amazon Games is looking for a Software Development Engineer. In this role, you will own the architecture and operation of critical infrastructure for our live service, including how to optimize and automate in order to streamline deployments and minimize operational overhead.
We believe games are about community. Today, the communities that started in arcades, a quarter at a time, have evolved into Twitch streams with millions of viewers, and friendships first formed in-game that extend across continents.
As an engineer in an advanced technology group for games, you will be a creative problem solver who is obsessed with building revolutionary AWS services from the ground up and delivering the best customer experience. You’ll dive deep into the gaming community and help create new experiences and opportunities for connection. Using these connections, we will untap the power of Amazon for game developers by streamlining purchase and digital fulfillment experiences for players across all platforms.
We are looking for a seasoned Software Development Engineer with a strong track record of building and operating large scale services. This is an infrastructure development position where you will leverage your experiences of shipping quality software at scale. You will excel at communication, leadership, and customer focus. If you have these traits and are excited about making a big impact in the game industry, we're looking for you!
