Amazon Games is looking for a In-Game Economy Product Manager with an analytical background to monitor and execute economic changes in complex game economies involving player-to-player trading. This position location may be flexible depending on candidate requirements.

As an in-game Economy Product Manager you'll focus on driving data based decisions and analysis around complex game economies. Working with analysts, engineers, game designers, and product managers you'll balance and optimize player driven economies, combat fraud, track bots, and trace bad actors through detailed data analysis.

Key job responsibilities

  • Creating working models in-game economies using live telemetry
  • Develop data visualizations and reporting for live in-game economies
  • Balance and Optimize in-game economies
  • Support anti-fraud and botting measures through detailed analysis

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years working with product analytics
  • 2+ years working on live games
  • Experience working on at least one complex user driven economy

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to communicate data analysis through data visualizations
  • Advanced SQL skills
  • Deep understanding of video game economics
  • Able to create economic models for quantitative systems
  • Experience combatting bots or RMT in online worlds
  • Experience with Fraud Analysis
  • Experience with predictive analytics, ML or econometrics
  • Clear, concise, accurate communication (both verbal and written) with audiences of varying technical abilities and business contexts
  • Passion for online gaming
