Amazon has a strong and growing reputation in the video game business, including being named the best place to buy games in a recent industry survey, the release of several award winning games on android and iOS, the launch of own cloud based game engine, the announcement of soon to be released PC games and Twitch, Lumberyard, Amazon Web Services, Amazon game development and services, our digital and physical media retail, Comixology, Merch by Amazon and the Amazon Appstore are just some of our current assets that are relevant to this growing community.

  • Support the Business Development team to execute strategy for engaging with partners, including prioritizing opportunities, agreements, and managing ongoing relationships.
  • Support and execute plans while working with key internal stakeholders (e.g. product, legal, marketing).
  • Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management regarding progress and roadblocks.
  • Managing the day to day development of relationships, business opportunities, contract and implementation of partnerships.
  • Coordinating with other Amazon teams to leverage established relationships and present a unified vision to our partners.
  • Develop best practices to foster, manage, and track opportunities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years in entertainment/game content account management, consulting, and/or product management
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA/MS preferred
  • 3+ years of applicable experience in strategic product management business development, or product management.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated success in supporting multiple deals and partnerships
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence team stakeholders
  • End-to-end account management experience, including identifying, developing, and executing successful partnerships such as large-scale marketing deals, technical collaborations, complex digital media transactions, and strategic technology relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively while applying sound business judgment and quantitative analytics.
  • Excellent oral and written skills to communicate complex issues and influence others internally and externally.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability gain respect of senior management and external executives.
  • Ability to build and maintain a network of relationships which facilitate deal flow.
  • Self-starter who can excel in a fast-paced and fluid environment.
  • Competency with internet, mobile and cloud technologies.
  • Passion for big challenges and a good sense of humor.
