Akshon Esports is an esports media company with the goal of creating quality engaging and entertaining content pieces. As a team with a passion for gaming, we aim to elevate the bar when it comes to esports content and storytelling through our work.

We are looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to join and grow with our team. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented and be capable of creating original text/video content posts and be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies, gaming, and social media trends.

You will be tasked with innovating, creating, implementing, and executing disruptive strategies to promote growth across various social media platforms and act as the front-line voice for our brand within the gaming community that promotes engagement while maintaining a professional presence. You will work with our management and content team to align our business’ needs with your social media strategies

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage social media marketing campaigns, content flow, and other day-to-day activities
  • Designing and implementing creative social media strategies to align with business goals
  • Sourcing, developing, and managing social-first content
  • Monitor key metrics and construct analytics/ROI reports
  • Communicate with followers and respond to queries in a timely professional manner
  • Identify and capitalize on emerging social trends and develop appropriate growth strategies

You Must Have:

  • A passion for social media and demonstrate the ability to successfully create an online voice for a brand in the gaming and esports space.
  • Experience creating community-facing content, including social-first video and copywriting
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite such as Photoshop and Premiere Pro
  • Ability to create effective content marketing plans
  • Ability to identify and report on KPIs, goals, and other affiliated social media metrics
  • Strong understanding of the gaming/esports landscape
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Professional communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Fluent in English (other languages are a plus)
  • Prior experience working in the esports and entertainment marketing industry is a plus
