Located in thriving Austin, Texas, Airship Syndicate was founded by four industry vets formerly of Vigil Games - the house that Darksiders built. Led by visionary comic artist Joe Madureira, we work with a wide group of talented contributors located both in our studio and around the world. Our projects include Battle Chasers: Nightwar, Darksiders Genesis, and the upcoming Ruined King: A League of Legends Story.

Our goal is simple: build a lean, fun, independent game studio to create top-quality games for a variety of gaming platforms.

Airship is currently seeking a skilled Live Service Producer to help organize, maintain, and support the live operation of a title. If you have a passion for live service games and want to be a part of an amazing indie studio, we want to hear from you!

Expectation

This role is responsible for release management, communicating and adapting to player feedback, and collaborating across departments on content delivery. The ideal Live Service Producer has strong project management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to quickly adapt to an ever-changing development environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish and maintain schedules for game updates, patches, and content updates.

  • Work with data scientists to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Manage the release of patches and updates across multiple platforms, including testing cycles ensuring quality releases.

  • Be active and engaged with community managers and customer support to identify, report, and triage live service Issues.

  • Keep the team informed of upcoming dates, deployments, and the status of live service operations.

  • Work with project leads to establish and maintain content plans for the title.

REQUIRED:

  • 3+ years of experience in a Production role within the games industry.

  • Experience working on a live service product.

  • Thorough understanding of the game development process.

  • Experience tracking and communicating status of content and key dates across multiple disciplines.

  • Shipped at least 1 recent title.

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Experience tracking complex features and reporting crucial information in a succinct manner.

  • Ability to multitask and solve complex issues while meeting deadlines.

PLUSES:

  • Shipped titles on PC and consoles.

  • Live Game Experience.

  • Passion for games.

  • Familiarity with Unreal Engine.

  • Adept at problem-solving and cat herding.

  • Experience with administration for various task and bug tracking systems.

  • Experience managing and evolving a content pipeline; understand and facilitate production costs and timelines while effectively communicating to management and the team.
