Summary:

Age of Learning, Inc. is looking for a highly-motivated individual to provide support to the growing Design Research and Consumer Insights program. This individual will be responsible for managing recruitment systems, coordinating logistical aspects of projects related to user testing, and assisting with research (including but not limited to observations, data collection, and writing research summaries). Qualified candidates will have excellent project management and problem solving skills; initiative; strong oral and written communication skills; and a keen attention to detail. This person has experience in research or product development at fast-growing companies, and is highly productive in a collaborative working environment. This person will work as part of a forward-thinking, innovative, fast-paced team, and will support team members as well as creative and production personnel to expand the impact of Age of Learning products.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize, schedule, and coordinate User Research activities
  • Manage internal participant database and communications (including social media communications and mass emailing), tracking participants and consent forms
  • Lead recruitment campaigns to increase participant numbers in the internal database by partnering with local agencies and organizations to expand research reach
  • Recruit and schedule participants for research projects
  • Manage overall participant experience, including obtaining consent, setting up needed tech for prototype testing, escorting participants to and from the testing room (onsite only), and handling incentives/gratuities
  • Closely work alongside the research team to fine-tune processes for efficiency
  • Assist the research team with managing documentation, including but not limited to research activities, protocols, reports and briefs, and media files.
  • Work with researchers to write reports and research briefs
  • Adhere to standards of research ethic and excellence

Qualifications:

  • Two to three years of experience working in a professional administrative or coordination role, prioritizing and delivering tasks requested by multiple stakeholders
  • Able to communicate effectively with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive and collaborative work habits
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • Exceptional organization skills with the ability to consistently meet deadlines
  • Solution-focused; able to problem-solve to achieve program goals in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with software and equipment such as Salesforce, PostUp (or other mass email system), JIRA, Confluence, Office365, mobile devices (iOS and Android), laptops, and cameras (some training provided)
  • Experience with educational products or children's media a plus
