Summary:

Age of Learning is seeking a full-time Senior Community Manager to engage with our subscriber parents and to build their trust and loyalty. We have a large social following among our key products (ABCmouse and Adventure Academy), though do not proactively engage parents in other ways (e.g. email) at this time. We are seeking an expert to help us build a stronger, more loyal community across social channel, emails, and other communications/strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Build trust and loyalty among parents and teachers, enabled by deep understanding of our products, the parent landscape, and effective content/creative.
  • This role is creative meets data. You will be responsible for developing content that fosters a deep sense of community and grows both brand engagement and revenue. You will manage the strategy.
  • Develop strategic vision and plan for our social channels and emails (outside of those sent by Marketing), with the goal of increasing engagement, retaining, and supporting the attraction of new parents.
  • Implement a framework and develop data-driven insights to optimize content delivery that drives engagement across all accounts.
  • Collaborate with teams throughout the organization and shape creative content development for social media and email marketing.
  • Grow and enhance our social media presence across platforms; Manage community comments and messages, in partnership with Customer Support and others.
  • Develop data-driven insights to optimize content that drives engagement; monitor trends, test new ideas, and help key stakeholders understand what is working and why.
  • Create and maintain a social posting and email calendar.
  • Analyze performance data and iterate to achieve optimal performance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field.
  • Preferred 6+ years’ experience in social community management, with proven examples of strategies and campaigns, such as demonstrating audience growth and increased engagement.
  • Strong copywriting skills and editorial judgement.
  • Knowledge of social scheduling and social analytic tools such as Sprout, Hootsuite, etc.
  • Ability to adapt and to improve/optimize through data analytics and performance.
  • Creative thinker and eager to learn.
  • Understanding of consumer social media campaigns, with deep knowledge of the parenting audience being a plus.
