We are looking for a motivated and hard-working writer to create content about CS:GO esports with a specific focus on teams, tournaments, and content creators that play the game in the Middle East, European, North American and South American markets.

Responsibilities:

• Sourcing and writing news and content about CS:GO with a focus on Middle East, European, North American and South American teams
• Follow and cover stories, opinion pieces, and interviews about teams, tournaments, and influencers that play these games
• Work with our editors to pitch topics for approval and format them to publication’s standards
• Help to increase traffic and grow AFK Gaming’s website, brand credibility, and social media channels

Requirements (Compulsory):

• Fluent written English: A writing style that is crisp, concise, and easy to understand
• A thorough understanding and knowledge of the CS:GO esports industry, including influencers, pro players, and teams
• The ability to break stories quickly while maintaining the quality and accuracy of the article
• Respect for deadlines and schedules. Time management and a strong work ethic are essential
• A computer that can run Photoshop, Canva, or other image editing tools, and a basic understanding of how to use them

Good to have skills (Optional):

• Knowledge of SEO
• Knowledge of G Suite products and Google Analytics
• Knowledge of other PC FPS titles like Valorant, Call of Duty and Apex Legends
• Connections in the CS:GO esports scene
• Competitive experience in FPS titles
