YOUR ROLE:

As DevOps & Tooling Engineer, you will be supporting our development team by building and maintaining a solid base of operations. A challenging job which never gets boring.

THE KIND OF STUFF YOU`LL BE DOING:

  • Set up automated pipelines in TeamCity (projects, build configurations, triggers)

  • Work together with our Unreal Engine developers to automate common processes

  • Create, maintain and improve in-house tools written mostly in C#

  • Maintain and optimize our continuous integration workflows for multiple platforms such as Windows, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch

  • Work together with our IT department to maintain the build machines and plan future improvements

  • Collaborate with our Producers and QA to identify and avoid bottlenecks in release timelines

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR:

  • Job is fully located on site in our Munich office / You already live in Munich or nearby or are willing to relocate

  • Open minded mindset with solution-oriented thinking

  • Enthusiasm and adaption for learning new technologies and systems

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE ALSO HAS:

  • Some experience working with Unreal projects

  • Some experience working in C++

  • Some experience working with and administering Perforce (Helix Core/ Helix Swarm)

  • Some team leading / project management knowledge

  • Experience working with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence

  • Experience with setting up virtual containers with e.g. Docker

  • Good communication skills in German, both verbally and in writing

YOU HAVE:

  • Experience with developing C# applications from scratch

  • Experience working with CI setups like TeamCity or Jenkins

  • Experience working with Version Control Systems like Perforce, Git or SVN

YOU ARE:

  • Self-motivated, self-directed, flexible, reliable, and initiative

  • A team player, eager to learn and passionate to enable others to focus on their core tasks

  • Able to gather, analyze and act on feedback from the team

  • Open to constructive criticism

  • Interested or experienced in the special challenges game projects entail when it comes to CI and tooling

  • Able to adapt to different situations and able to use your creativity and knowledge to come up with solid solutions

  • Confident with English communication, both verbally and in writing

  • Happy to work in our team in Munich (Germany)
