Your Mission

This senior-level role in gameplay design will set the vision for gameplay in Call of Duty Mobile and execute that vision across PVP and PVE game modes. This role is about being able to articulate feedback on designs from our external partner studio, to work with 3rd party studios to prototype new mechanics and modes, and to put together your thoughts into a unified gameplay roadmap. On the Call of Duty team we look for designers who are capable not only of innovation and AAA polish, but who can also be relied upon to effectively collaborate with other departments and drive their vision to completion on-time and at-quality.

Player Profile

  • A track record of creating gameplay that’s compelling, immersive, and engaging.
  • History with rapidly prototyping gameplay mechanics with 3rd and 2nd party studios.
  • Ability to take feedback from peers and directors to iterate and improve your and others’ designs.
  • Know our game: how it excels, where it needs improvement, and how you’ll make it better.
  • A love of mobile games: you’ll need to play a few competitor games extensively and try to deeply understand both our game and our competitors.
  • Excellent written communication skills and ability to work cross functionally.
