Your Mission

As a Senior Associate, you will be an integral part of our executive recruiting team, reporting into to one of our market experts (Senior Director/Principal) and partnering broadly across a dynamic, high energy talent organization. You will play a critical role in driving a successful search from open to close, with specific alignment to one of our businesses or functional verticals. In this vertical—one of the most essential in our company given our superior focus on being one of the world’s best companies to work for and creating innovative games and entertainment for our consumers -- you will be become an in-house expert on identifying key talent in global markets and monitoring executive movements across technology, consumer, and other key sectors. You will find creative pathways to attract the talent and be effective in communicating a candidate’s strength, weaknesses, and fit to our culture, both verbally and in writing.

In addition to driving senior-level searches, the Senior Associate will partner closely with Principals on more complex, C-suite positions, including the development of a search strategy, creation of target lists of companies and candidates, coordination of internal and external research resources, proactive sourcing, candidate identification and development, documentation of candidate qualifications and references. The Senior Associate will also act as a researcher, sourcer, and key team member serving our executive leadership. Further, s/he will be relied upon to develop robust and diverse candidate slates as a central tenet of our company’s mission.

Priorities often change in a fast-paced, dynamic environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute executive search strategies for key executive searches, develop evolving pipelines of top talent, and oversee exceptional and detailed research
  • Develop and maintain market-specific intelligence relevant to the business and talent needs to include maintaining a network of diverse industry top talent and report out on search progress, including candidate pipelines, diversity initiatives, and market related compensation.
  • Effectively brief, educate, and iterate with internal executive stakeholders
  • Track, analyze, and review search productivity and performance to brief Executive Practice leaders and Chief Talent Officer
  • Provide superior partnership and a service mentality to key executives and HR Business Partners; effectively manage search partners when needed and drive their performance
  • Contribute insight into market trends, effectively communicate strategic thinking to push a search forward with alacrity and urgency
  • Continually identify and communicate process improvement opportunities to evolve the executive practice team and output

Player Profile

The ideal candidate will have experience in a client-facing role and have influenced leaders whether in executive search, management or strategy consulting, or in the office of executive leadership. The role requires a sense of urgency, passion for results, and personal accountability for achievement. S/he will be noted for proactive communication, anticipating needs of clients, and a strong interest in leadership assessment. The ideal candidate will be resilient, able to pivot and grow, and show an eagerness to develop and learn.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 6-8+ years’ experience in a dynamic, fast-paced, high intellect environment
  • Ideally, in-house executive recruiting experience, retained search experience, or a combination of both
  • Experience consulting on and negotiating complex executive compensation packages
  • Experience in developing and executing diversity recruiting strategies to identify diverse executive level talent
  • Experience leveraging leading CRM systems, creating a central “intelligence” database that informs and pushes the team to use insight and analysis when examining talent
  • Executive-facing presentation skills with gravitas, superior written and verbal communication ability, and a keen understanding of the pace and priorities of a company’s top executives
