Your Mission

We are looking for a dynamic self-starter that will lead and execute a recruiting and employee integration strategy for Activision Blizzard across our corporate functions.

Reporting to the Vice President of Talent Acquisition, they will provide strategic leadership to your team of recruiters responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and ensuring a smooth onboarding process for employees. This innovative visionary will design and implement a world-class recruitment strategy that will not just deliver, but over-deliver on a pipeline of future leaders at Activision. The candidate will be a fearless change-agent. S/he will have excellent relationship-building skills and a strong sense of accountability/urgency. This flexible team player will partner with the leaders of diverse business units and be responsive to the changing needs of the gaming industry. They have a proven track-record in recruitment management and is committed to building a team that understands that our success comes from our people producing greatness.

A successful candidate in this role will:

  • Set Strategy - Quickly grasp the key business drivers in the business. Persuade others with fact-based judgments. Pose questions which provoke different thinking about the business. Quickly see hidden value and how to unlock it. Make sensible recommendations and decisions that balance a variety of factors. Navigate confidently in ambiguous situations.
  • Influence - Ensure seamless integration and flawless execution of marketing plans. others with fact-based judgments. Make arguments in a compelling and logical manner. Listen to alternative points of views and welcomes debate. Make self personally visible to their team and colleagues to communicate key messages.
  • Build and Lead Teams - This person will have a proven ability to hire and manage strong teams and to provide appropriate leadership, structure, coaching, training, and development. S/he will provide business solutions and motivation to the team in order to generate the best performance.
  • Be Results Oriented and Hands-On - S/he has a deep desire for success, always keeps their eye on results, and stays close to tactics. They lead by example and has a strong sense of urgency. They are able to direct their colleagues and team to set priorities and effectively execute.

Player Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 8 years of strong recruiting and recruitment management
  • Must have deep experience with full life cycle recruiting including demonstrated expertise in advanced internet searching, candidate research, cold calling, and sourcing
  • Is a strong team player with a track record of building and sustaining relationships across all functions and levels in an organization
  • Can handle confidential information with discretion and maturity
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and focus in an ambiguous environment through demonstrated, proven leadership
  • Strong problem solving by proactively driving results and being solution oriented
  • A concise, articulate, succinct written and oral communicator that continuously drives for process improvement
  • Ability to manage customer relationships, provide strong customer service skills, work independently and in a team environment
  • Demonstrated confidence in all settings when advising/partnering with business leaders/partners
  • Proven organization skills ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks in an environment with competing demands
  • Strong computer skills - MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook a plus); as well as mainstream ATSs
