Your Mission

We’re looking for a Director, Litigation. In this role, you’ll work on some of the most interesting, exciting, high-profile matters at the Company, working to protect the company and its reputation. You’ll report to the Senior Director for Litigation and work closely with her and other senior leaders across the Law Department and Company.

As a colleague, you’ll be committed to the highest standards of ethics, professionalism, and collegiality, and be willing to pitch in and help where needed. You’ll also be interested in learning new things and dealing with cutting-edge legal issues at the intersection of law, entertainment, and tech.

Player Profile

  • J.D. from a nationally recognized law school

  • Membership in at least one state bar

  • 7+ years of relevant legal experience at a top law firm, government agency, or in house law department

  • Outstanding writer, clear thinker, and effective communicator

  • Common sense and excellent judgment

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage strategy for a variety of high-profile litigation, pre-litigation matters and subpoena responses, including consumer and shareholder class actions, IP, derivative and commercial disputes

  • Collaborate with and be responsible for the work of outside counsel

  • Advise cross-functional teams on litigation strategy and risks

  • Coordinate and actively participate in internal discovery activities

  • Develop creative approaches to managing legal risks and resolving disputes

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $154,100.00 - $285,084.00 Annual. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
