Activision Blizzard is looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to join the Social Media & Content Strategy team. As a Social Media Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing social media content, analyzing its performance, refining it using data-driven insights to support the corporate communications goals and employer brand of Activision Blizzard and its business units.

The ideal candidate will have experience developing effective social media strategies and creating and executing campaigns from start to finish- identifying clear goals, developing a concept, building support for the initiative, working with a range of stakeholders to bring it to life, measuring its success, and developing learnings for future campaigns.

The Social Media Manager should be a creative thinker who is outcome-oriented and has a record of developing and implementing successful social media campaigns. They are well-versed in social media publishing and reporting tools and they are familiar with content management systems and project management tools.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and implement cutting-edge approaches to social media content to support the corporate communications and employer brand objectives for the company and its business units (Activision Publishing, Blizzard Entertainment, and King)
  • Manage the social media presence of our company and its business units across various platforms including, but not limited to, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
  • Find strategic opportunities to promote and develop content in partnership with the company’s iconic franchises to support corporate communications and employer brand objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to conceptualize, build and execute campaigns that support various teams’ objectives.
  • Work with internal and external production teams to deliver creative assets developed for our corporate social media channels.
  • Analyze and report on content performance to inform internal stakeholders and drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Support issues management by managing social media monitoring and delivering periodic reports when needed.
  • Continuously optimize our channels through continued learning and knowledge of “best practices” - franchise learnings, paid media KPIs, competitive efforts, internal stakeholder input, etc.
  • Work with colleagues to develop or enhance processes to improve collaboration and enhance alignment on global projects.

What you’ll bring

  • 8+ years of client-side social / digital marketing experience and impeccable communication skills. Experience developing social media content for executives is a plus.
  • Appetite for developing innovative campaigns that leverage the latest tech and trends across platforms.
  • Excitement to engage with and build a diverse community of people who understand and support Activision Blizzard’s mission of connecting ane engaging the world through epic entertainment.
  • Passion for gaming and a love for Activision Blizzard’s games.
  • Expertise in working with social media and website analytics tools; familiarity with Sprinklr, Adobe Analytics, and Google Analytics are a plus.
