Your Mission

As a Senior Marketing Manager, Consumer Products International you will be responsible for developing and executing the Marketing, ecommerce, Consumer events and B2B strategy across EMEA/Rest of World (minus China).

The Senior Marketing Manager will have dual reporting into both our VP of International and dotted line to our Senior Director of Global Marketing of consumer product and work across all Activision, Blizzard and Activision Blizzard Esports business units to understand their product strategy and existing brand marketing/comms activity in order to develop a CP marketing/ecommerce approach that is complementary to those efforts.

Successful candidates will have experience in areas of growth and performance-based marketing, product marketing as well as deep knowledge of evaluating metrics and analyzing data. Experience in project management and/or experiential marketing execution at retail or events is appreciated.

We are open to considering applicants who are at a Manager or Senior Manager level. We are also open to candidates who are able to work at either of our offices in Datchet or Ditton Park, however there will be a requirement to travel between both offices from time to time.

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

  • Build and manage strong relationship with ecommerce partner Fanatics in order to drive day-to-day operations, including forecast tracking, merchandising of online store-front and select consumer events, marketing and promotions roadmap
  • Align with Global ecommerce and marketing leads to leverage franchise and cultural calendars, identify and ensure delivery of KPIs, recommend optimization for European region based on knowledge of the SKU performance, industry trends and customer behaviors
  • Develop GTMs and build budgets in order to drive coordinated executions with internal teams through Owned and Earned marketing channels, including CRM, social media, affiliate, influencers, etc
  • Partner with Fanatics and internal teams to develop and track approvals for high-performance content marketing, including A+ copy, product images, videos, etc
  • Develop feedback loop to regularly track and report performance, including patterns and behaviors around customer journey and conversion funnel, delivering results and insights to internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to marketing experimentation roadmap, gaining internal buy-in for new channels testing in order to scale for growth and efficiencies across both acquisitions and retention
  • Additional responsibilities around supporting our B2B/OEM business through ecommerce or retail distribution as needed

Player Profile

Minimum Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent required, MBA preferred
  • Must have extensive experience in growth, performance and/or digital marketing; ideally in an Ecommerce environment
  • Experience with all aspects of campaign management including budgeting, planning, creative development, execution and optimization in a cross-functional environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify KPIs and interpret data into meaningful insights, including experience analyzing SKU and category performance
  • Excellent partner management skills, including contributions to forecast and approvals tracking
  • Commercial thinker with comprehensive experience and understanding of the European consumer products landscape (including retail)
  • Polished verbal and written communication skills in order to interact with and present to senior executives, partners and peers across all lines of business
  • Experience working with consumer insights a plus
  • Knowledge and fandom of Activision Blizzard franchises and/or esports a plus
  • Team Player and comfortable with matrix organization
