Activision Blizzard Media (ABM) is looking for a Business Strategy, Senior Manager/Associate Director to join the Strategy & Operations team.
In this role, you will report to the Head of Business Strategy and Demand Operations, Director, and work closely with ABM leaders to design major strategies/actions plans, seek alignment and ensure execution. You will also work closely with other operational leaders at ABM, as well as stakeholders (including senior leaders) within the ABK organization.
You will be a critical leader in setting, maintaining and implementing a vision leading to exponential revenue growth, setting a path which considers opportunities and challenges.
What You'll Do
Maintain a vision for ABM’s long-term strategy, consistent with ABK’s vision, and align it across ABM Leadership and broader team
Transform our vision into execution plans. Leverage frameworks such as OKRs to ensure clear ownership and measurement, and efficient execution
Partner with ABM Leadership to refresh yearly and quarterly plan to ensure the best course of action is pursued
Ensure that our business strategies are well communicated, aligned, and incorporated into functional strategies (Product Strategy/Roadmap, Go-To-Market Strategy, etc.)
Set a cadence for business reviews and lead meetings through deliverables, outcomes, and actions to drive goals and priorities
Act as a subject matter expert in the world of advertising within ABK. Develop and maintain expertise of the fast paced gaming and ad tech market. Anticipate and evaluate impact of major industry changes (e.g. Apple’s ATT) and be ready to evolve ABM’s long-term and short-term paths
Support decision making by bringing subject matter expertise and insightful data
Lead execution of cross-functional strategic projects to create new avenues of growth and/or remove roadblocks
Identify and pursue growth projects. Rally leaders and teams behind prioritization and pursuit
Help build the ABM POV of external growth opportunities via acquisitions and partnerships, based on our long-term strategy and goals, as well as market dynamics
Lead regular and adhoc presentations/updates to King and AB Leadership. Set agendas and desired outcomes, create and coordinate content, facilitate high quality content and conversations
Lead or support adhoc projects in support of the General Manager of ABM, or other ABM Leadership members
Who You Are
5-7 years of experience in relevant position: Credible Management Consulting firms or Corporate/Business Strategy team in relevant industry
Good understanding of gaming and ad tech strongly preferred
A thought leader / partner who excels at collaborating with team members and influencing senior leadership
Strong program and stakeholder management skills bringing structure, visibility and efficiency to multiple on-going initiatives with different cross-functional touchpoints
Ability to process complex information, bringing in framework to navigate and design solutions for complex issues
Has good business intuition backed by a data-driven approach to decision making
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience in storytelling / insight presenting in PowerPoint format
Strong work ethic and an appetite to learn more about the ever-changing gaming and ads industries
