We are hiring a Lead Technical Recruiter to join our team. This individual will partner closely with our recruiting manager to streamline our process and define a talent acquisition strategy with a strong focus on candidate experience, days to fill and building the recruitment funnel.

This position will work closely with our Global VP of Product and Global VP of Engineering (two veterans in the Ad tech industry), delivering the latest recruitment strategies and providing them with robust weekly metrics and hiring updates. Additionally, we are looking for someone who has the ability to mentor and coach a team of two, as well as be able to close high priority/critical roles as defined by the leadership team. This position is based in San Francisco with flexibility to travel to other offices.

Your role within Activision Blizzard Media

  • Build strong relationships with senior leadership teams to understand their team goals while making hiring recommendations, support events, and build a strategy to hire amazing people.
  • Manage full cycle recruitment process while crafting and delivering the best candidate experience.
  • Partner effectively with teammates in Recruiting, HR Operations and business partners across the HR org to ensure efficient and scalable recruiting processes.
  • Source passive candidates through the use of online tools, boolean searches and other creative sourcing strategies while ensuring they go through the interview process in a timely manner.
  • Recommend and rollout new recruiting strategies that help build candidate pipeline (ie: referral spotlight sessions, market research, networking, internal and external events).
  • Partner with tech teams to create standardized interview process and questions that reflects our culture and values.
  • Ensure accurate reporting, including tracking of candidate pipeline data, provide relevant updates to hiring teams and HR business partners on all roles and projects you support; in addition, maintain a high level of detail when entering data in Avature, our Applicant Tracking System.
  • Design and execute sourcing techniques and recruiting campaigns to identify top engineering talent (for both passive and active candidates).
  • Own the candidate experience and make sure that candidates walk away as a raving fan of AB Media regardless of hiring decision.

Skills to create thrills

  • 10+ years of full cycle technical recruiting experience, with a minimum of 4 years of in house experience hiring Product and Engineering talent within a tech company. Agency experience desired.
  • Specific experience managing technical pipelines (Product Management, Product Design, Data Science and/or SWE).
  • Proven experience in building building and delivering against a recruitment strategy that best supports growth for technical organizations.
  • Ability to partner effectively with hiring managers to create job descriptions, negotiate and close offers.
  • Process driven and proven ability to navigate ambiguity and solve challenging problems.
  • High attention to detail, team-oriented and ability to contribute to an inclusive work environment.
  • Ability to pick up new ATS systems, tools and technology (e.g., google suite, Avature).
  • Bachelors Degree from a four year college or university.
