We seek a scientist to join our Tumor Immunology group. This person will be responsible for research and development of the artificial intelligence (AI) model to design vaccine for cancer immunotherapy or infectious diseases.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with team to develop Artificial Intelligent model for antigenic epitope prediction.
  • Identify and develop assays to assess the effect of therapeutics on immune function in the tumor and periphery using human cells and animal models.
  • Qualify and perform assays and analyze data with the appropriate statistical analyses.
  • Identify and integrate technologies that improve or expand the ability to assess molecules by working with teammates, collaborators, vendors, and staying abreast of the literature.
  • Enter all data into laboratory notebooks and databases on a daily basis.
  • Regular participation and presentation of data and analyses at Project Team and department meetings.
  • Participates in development of patent applications.

Qualifications

Required:

  • PhD in Molecular/Cellular Biology, Cancer Biology or a related discipline.
  • Solid expertise in cell, molecule-based and animal model analysis
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with an ability to work well in a cross-disciplinary collaboration.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • A proven ability to plan experiments and work independently in an academic or industrial research environment.

Preferred:

  • Research or industry experience in vaccine discovery and production.
  • Research or industry experience in cancer immunology or immunotherapy.
