Planet9 is a modern social platform for gamers around the world, our goal is to help gamers level up by all means. We are looking for a game changer who is full of passion and energy in eSports with experience and knowledge in campaign marketing.

This role will help develop creative campaigns that drive awareness, promote event registrations, and contact acquisition for Planet9 events globally.
In this role you will work closely with headquarters team and regional team to develop and deliver integrated campaigns for gamers across different region and different sectors. You will work with the various teams to identify the needs and goals of campaigns and develop the assets for execution. You will effectively develop the campaign through multiple digital channels including website creation, email, social media, online advertising, graphic design, data analytics, and more.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple high-profile marketing projects simultaneously. This key team member should have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills with the ability to design digital assets and write compelling campaign copy. In addition, the role requires the ability to analyze campaign effectiveness, modify campaigns based on conclusions, and clearly articulate results to stakeholders.

Your responsibility will include

  • Act as single point of contact for marketing teams based in other countries
  • Maintain a consolidated calendar of upcoming events to enable the planning of more sophisticated campaigns up to a year in advance
  • Develop campaigns to maximize the exposure of upcoming releases to targeted audiences and deliver all the assets required for all your campaigns
  • Collaborate with external and internal partners to support successful campaigns
  • Analyze the impact of campaigns and their impact on customer engagement
  • Monitor the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust accordingly
  • Build SOPs to improve efficiency and effectiveness of shared processes. Influence the direction of longer-term product enhancements to improve customer experience globally with an ever growing list of languages

Required

  • Bachelor degree in marketing or communication related field
  • 3+ years of marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in matrixed organizations
  • Good negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skill
  • Sense of urgency and follow through.
  • Ability to develop and maintain professional working relationships with co-workers and peers.
  • Familiar with Google Analytics and related social media marketing tool

Preferred

  • Knowledgeable about digital marketing and campaign management
  • Excellent organization skills, attention to detail, diligence and follow-through
  • Self-starter, goal-oriented, and ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to influence others, especially when working across teams and functions
  • Passion for gaming and understanding of the gaming industry landscape and ecosystem, especially tournament host, gamer publisher, sponsor, and eSports team.
