As our Partnerships Manager, you will be the link between our internal stakeholders and key partners of the business. ACEND is on the rise and we are looking for experienced and dedicated people to expand our operations.
Introduction
ACEND has quickly risen to success after just one year of existence, conquering the Valorant scene and becoming the first World Champions. Now, our aim is to increase our reach within professional Esports and gaming, to find and develop teams to their maximum potential.
The Partnerships Manager will help grow and maintain Acend’s commercial portfolio. A key component of the role will be developing a strong network of potential partners and sponsors and pursuing opportunities on behalf of the organization.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Providing day-to-day support to the CEO and Head of Esports on all Partnership related matters;
Consultation and management of current partnerships;
Leading conversation and official business talks with external stakeholders;
Developing a network of brands/sponsors fit to be represented by the Acend brand and its values
Analyze research findings and identifies activation concepts that align with the brand, support marketing objectives, and drive business results;
Works collaboratively across internal departments and stakeholders;
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Minimum 2 years’ experience of working in a sponsorship related environment
Experience in the creation of proposals to win work for new clients.
Good knowledge of esports and video gaming or an appetite to develop and learn more about the industry
Experience of planning projects, conducting analytical work and reporting on the outcomes.
Excellent organizational skills and a methodical approach to partnership delivery and activation;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
A creative mindset and a flexible, ‘can do’ approach to problem solving and negotiation;
The ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels;
The ability to manage a variety of projects and partner matters at the same time;
The ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines;
Good knowledge of software (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
