The Senior Marketing Manager, esports, sits within the award-winning Brand Activation Marketing group of Access Intelligence. The esports business is currently the fastest growing within the division. The incumbent will work closely with the Marketing Director and the Brand leader to broaden the esports imprint and continue its journey on becoming the go-to informational resource for the entire esports business industry.

The Senior Marketing Manager, esports, will work directly with the Marketing Director to develop and implement strategic, data-driven marketing campaigns focused on growing live event attendance at the annual Esports Business Summit and Esports Upfront, building the audience database, increasing engagement across editorial and thought leadership products to drive bottom line revenue. The role will serve as a cross-functional hub to ensure alignment on messaging across marketing, communications, sales, and events.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Develop multi-channel marketing campaigns focused on growth
  • Evaluate campaign performance with ability to identify actionable insights
  • Manage website development, content and maintenance
  • Develop and optimize lead generation programs
  • Collaborate with sales teams on integrated sales programs for top tier clients
  • Work with event team members to implement onsite event logistics
  • Project manage production of creative assets including digital graphics, html components, onsite event materials and client deliverables
  • Provide high-level customer service to clients including numerous industry luminaries

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years event marketing or related experience
  • Ability to create multi-channel marketing plans and measure performance results
  • Ability to manage budgets and expenses and communicate on tracking to senior management
  • Strong copywriting skills across writing for email, social, sales kits, and one-to-one communications
  • Skills in Adobe CS, WordPress, Google Analytics, programmatic advertising, SEO optimization, Sprout Social or similar and Salesforce
  • Experience with Omeda, Marketo or similar email deployment system
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of event registration/ticketing systems such as CVENT, etouches, or Aventri a plus
