505 Games is searching for a highly motivated, results-oriented, and analytical Influencer Relations Manager to join its Free-to-Play Marketing Team. A key role that elevates 505 Games’ diverse portfolio of multi-platform games offered worldwide. This passionate gaming professional will support the overall function of communications through building and leveraging relationships with content creators on Twitch, YouTube, Facebook Gaming and other emerging channels. This role will also collaborate with internal teams, as well as external partners to elevate consumer positioning, branding, and promotions of our free-to-play portfolio of games.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Product Marketing, Production, PR and Community teams to develop strategic campaigns that leverage both paid and earned content creators
  • Develop programs with the Product Marketing team to define strategically appropriate tactics in support of large programs including virtual events, physical events, marketing promotions and more
  • Establish personal relationships within the content creator community – know the right people and the right pitch to attract their participation to raise awareness and generate long-term engagement for our games
  • Coordinate with Community Managers to operate Twitch and Facebook Gaming streams, create YouTube content, operate tournaments and more
  • Communicate industry trends, opportunities and potential issues to the wider communications team while always sharing and communicating with the European and Asia marketing teams
  • Guide international marketing teams in best practices, developing and managing relationships and executing campaigns
  • Participate in brainstorms and planning sessions related to PR, marketing and event activations
  • Develop comprehensive reporting to track influencer campaign impact, with analysis of impact
  • Build and manage a 505 Free-to-Play Influencer Partner Program, working cross-functionally with brand, community, web and our developers to provide a package of benefits that will entice top creators to join

Expertise Desired:

  • Strong understanding of and interest in gaming/eSports trends and content creator programs
  • Ability to identify and foster relationships with relevant influencers and creators on Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, etc.
  • Experience working with influencers to promote both new and established games, F2P and premium games across mobile, PC and console
  • Established contacts with MCNs and Influencer Management Agencies
  • Flexible, motivated self-starter who is highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Must leverage both critical thinking and creativity

Experience Desired:

  • 3+ years experience working with content creators both tracking deliverables and out-reach
  • 4+ years experience working in a video game Communications and/or Community role or managing Brand Ambassadorship
  • Must have experience in creating and executing influencer or ambassador programs and initiatives
  • Understanding of global corporate operations and studio relations
  • Basic knowledge of creating Twitch and YouTube content
  • Event experience (PAX, RTX, TwitchCon etc.), including booth planning, managing appointments
  • Bachelor’s degree with a Marketing or Communications focus or equivalent experience
  • Experience with content creation on Twitch, Facebook, YouTube a plus
