We are looking for a Technical / Physics Artist to join our team. The job will require creation of physical and not-falling-under-standard-categories assets, extensive research with a goal of bringing unique competitive features to the project and keeping the feature set on par with global trends.

  • Create physical and mixed-category assets (destructibles, simulations, ragdolls).

  • Work closely with Art / FX / Design / PRG Teams in creation of complex features.

  • Create and support project-wide systems (weathers, day/season cycle, etc.).

  • Bring novelty regularly.

  • Support Design Teams with ideas, research, and final feature development.

  • Push the boundaries of current-gen platforms and optimize features effectively.

  • Find ways to improve our proprietary tools with Programmers and pipeline with tool users.

  • Perform optimizations with QA and Programmer Teams on certain stages of the project.

  • Deliver complete, tested, and tuned features.


  • Combine and utilize all engine features to achieve new heights and compete with the best.

  • Work with particles, physics, shaders, post-processing, lights, animations, modeling, etc.

  • Quickly locate and fix what's broken.

  • Be aware of global trends, learn relevant research papers, develop new ideas.

  • Provide help and tutoring to less experienced Artists and Designers.


  • Experience with real-time engines. Shipped games or a strong portfolio – a must.

  • Understanding memory and performance limitations of real-time rendering.

  • Understanding of existing 3D rendering pipelines.

  • Self-motivated and proactive. Doing R&D means digging your own path ignoring doubts.

  • Several years of experience as a 2D and 3D Artist.

  • Experience creating physical, fluid, and gas simulations.

  • Knowledge of work automation methods by scripting or using special software.

  • Have common math and trigonometry knowledge.

  • Technical mind, developed logic, thinking 'outside the box'.

  • Never using the word 'impossible'.

  • Fluent in English.


  • Good understanding of real-life physics and matter interactions.

  • Feeling of timing and dynamics.

  • Unreal or Unity scripting experience.

  • Ability to code or write shaders.

  • Ability to pass physics or math tests from primary school course.
