2K publishes some of the most popular video game franchises on the planet including Borderlands, BioShock, Mafia, NBA 2K, WWE 2K, Evolve, XCOM, and Sid Meier’s Civilization. The Brand Marketing Team is comprised of experienced, award-winning marketing and brand professionals working together and across the company to create innovative campaigns for 2K’s latest games.

What We Need:

2K is looking for a Web & Conversion Rate Optimization Manager to join its web team.

This is a fast-paced and data-intensive position within the marketing team. The successful candidate will be working directly on 2K’s diverse set of games base to drive web performance.
The Web team is responsible for optimizing the user journey for new customers. Every online advert takes you to a webpage. What do you put on that webpage? Different images, offers, buttons and even icons can affect user journeys. The conversion team is responsible for optimizing all different elements on the landing page and further pages to increase conversion of new customers.

The successful candidate will be part of the team managing 2K’s diverse game portfolio to drive return on marketing investment. They will be expected to operate in cutting edge marketing theory and analysis and quickly execute on an in-depth knowledge of all forms of online marketing.
From a place of both art and science they must enjoy working collaboratively and be able to create innovative marketing programs with cross-functional publishing teams, development teams, external agencies and studio leadership based on key consumer insights and established KPIs for the businesses.

Reporting directly to the Senior Director, the Manager will work within the Web team helping to improve the user journey. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a growing area of Online Marketing.
This position would be ideal for a hard-working and ambitious person who wants to take the next step in their career. Previous experience in gaming is not required – but a commitment to numerical analysis is a must.

What You Will Do:

Management & Project Management:

  • Grow and develop web strategy within 2K under the leadership of web Director
  • Support to Identify, test and optimize the best user journeys to drive ROI.
  • Project manage across brand marketing, paid media, analytics, marketing technology, and other teams to develop plans and execute
  • At the core of this job are organizational & communication roles, driving improvements in process to drive business outcomes.

Performance:

  • Delivering strong return on investment for relevant projects.
  • Ensuring the effective running of reporting, targeting, creative and bidding strategy

Content:

  • Understand the role of content, not only within marketing channels, but within the consumer journey with an eye towards conversion optimization across the entire funnel from awareness to conversion
  • Partners with the creative teams and agencies to advise on compelling content for various mediums and channels, develop test ideas, and manage a/b testing assets
  • Act as a Center of Excellence for the company to help with the implementation of local web campaigns across the globe.

Relationship Management

  • Build the relationship with brand marketing, game developers and broader 2K team

Who We Think Will Be a Great Fit:

  • 4+ years eCommerce or online marketing experience. Gaming/Services experience is a positive.
  • Highly numerate and strong analytical skills. Ability to quickly digest large amounts of data, perform analysis and identify trends to make business decisions based on data. Excel/SQL expertise a bonus.

Role Details:
