What We Need:

Our Novato, CA studio is looking seeking an Art Producer to join our development efforts on the NBA 2K User Interface Art department to work side by side with the UI Art Director, leads, and senior producers. We're looking for someone who is a visual problem solver and can be a liaison between different personalities across vendors, creatives, designers, programmers, and legal folks. Design and production may not always agree on how to handle certain ideas from a budget and visual perspective and it this is where your skills will be aiding us in bringing both of our visions together.

What You Will Do:

  • Assist team leads in managing feature set, priorities, assignments and schedules
  • Share information between departments regarding deadlines, assignments and priorities on a daily and weekly process
  • Keep the internal tracking systems up-to-date with meeting/discussion notes, tasks, assignees, priorities, due dates and statuses
  • Effectively communicate priorities, issues and pertinent information to your team and other parties involved
  • Anticipate and communicate issues from your team to the team leads and Directors.
  • Compile and send outsourcing packages as well as creating contracts for them and determining the budget
  • Support the team with logistics coordination for all art/game assets
  • Track approvals and reviews and ensure that subsequent teams receive feedback
  • Responsible for receiving and tracking art requests from multiple teams
  • Troubleshoot, proactively identify, and quickly execute on production issues and/or inefficiencies
  • Build and maintain a waterfall schedule for the features and teams
  • Track, respond and delegate department bugs from QA on our internal tracking system

Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit:

  • 2+ years of experience in video game production, film, or graphic design agency
  • Excellent written communication (slack, outlook etc)
  • Proficient in excel
  • Experience working with any industry task tracking apps (Shotgun/Jira/Monday etc.)
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task efficiently
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and multifaceted environment
  • Possess very strong organization and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with diverse personalities and skillsets across multiple departments
  • Comfortable doing 3-4 months overtime close to product launch

Nice To Have/Bonus:

  • Shotgrid (formerly Shotgun), Perforce, Confluence, Test Track Pro, is a plus
  • Knowledge and strong passion for sports and/or gaming is a plus, but not required. We make games, and we love to play them too!
  • Use of Adobe Creative Suite, Maya or knowledge of graphic or 3D pipelines
