Are you a Tech Recruiter who can speak Tech and Games fluently? If so, we may need you on our team. We are a small group of experienced Tech Recruiters, and we are responsible for driving hiring for one of the most successful growth companies in the video games industry. 2K develops and publishes interactive entertainment for console, PC and mobile platforms. Our world-class team of engineers, developers, graphic artists and publishing professionals are stewards of a growing library of critically-acclaimed franchises such as BioShock, Borderlands, Battleborn, The Darkness, Mafia, NBA 2K, Sid Meier’s Civilization, WWE 2K, and XCOM.
What We Need
Our Tech Recruiters source & recruit qualified candidates for open roles at 2K and our game development studios. You will partner with hiring managers to drive candidate hiring process forward including: create new job descriptions, sourcing and building your own candidate pipeline, manage candidate testing, interview potential candidates, evaluate candidates potential fit for hire, organize interview schedules, and close offers.
What You Will Do
- Your primary focus will be filling open positions in our studio Game Development teams including Engineering, Game Design, Art, Animation, Production and others as needed.
- Participate in all recruiting events including but not limited to job fairs, on-campus recruiting, open houses, and public speaking events
- Proactively research and be aware of current industry events, trends, and how to use that intel to our advantage
- Candidate sourcing, cold calling, and aggressively looking for creative ways to find the talent we need
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry colleagues, colleges, agencies, and other sources of high-quality candidates

- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years’ experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years minimum experience recruiting software engineers, programmers and or IT positions. Strong technical / engineering fluency is required in order to support these tech hiring teams.
- Preferred candidate will have 1+ years’ experience as an in-house recruiter in video game development/or creative studio environment ( games, animation, VFX)
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work with swiftly changing priorities
- Excellent organizational skills & multitasking abilities
- Accustomed to documenting your work daily in an ATS. Taleo experience is a huge plus
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet strict deadlines
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to deal effectively with diverse individuals at all organizational levels
- Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
- Creative, flexible, and innovative team player
- Skilled in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, email) and use of ATS systems
