OVERVIEW:

As our Quality Assurance and Development teams continue to grow, we are looking for a self-motivated, passionate Senior QA Tester to join our certification team. Your position will see you focus on the certification technical testing of first party platform requirements for the various platforms that we support. Reports to the Lead and/or QA Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Report high-quality defects in accordance with certification guidelines for Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, and other platforms as needed
  • Regularly reports quality certification bugs while also reporting functional bugs as found
  • Completes test cases for assigned projects and helps maintain up-to-date and accurate test suites
  • Assist with training new testers on the team to grow expertise and knowledge
  • Perform certification regressions and provide responses to PCR (Pending Cert Review) emails
  • Assist in the creation of Wiki documentation to ensure knowledge base resources remain current and reliable

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Has an accurate and experienced understanding of first party systems and requirements
  • Flexible and able to change tasks quickly
  • Able to test more independently and put in the research when they are not sure about a potential issue.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High productivity yielding efficient and accurate results
  • Consistently provides a positive role-model to testers, in terms of work performance and demeanor
  • Familiar with using Microsoft Word, Excel, and bug database software

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum age of 18 years and above
  • 1-3 years of Certification QA testing experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of test cycles and processes
  • Reliable, and can be counted on to work all scheduled shifts
  • Capable of working any mandatory overtime; which can occur during the work week, weekends, and holidays
  • Communicate effectively in English, in both written and oral forms
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time and occasionally lift up to 20 lbs
