The NBA 2K Marketing Team is comprised of experienced and talented marketing professionals and an exceptional communications team working together and across the company to create memorable and innovative campaigns for NBA 2K’s latest offering.

What We Need

Reporting to the Director, Global Live Services Marketing, the Senior Manager of Live Services Marketing will play a strategic and critical role on the NBA 2K Live Services Marketing Team by designing cohesive and seamless player journeys and compelling content that drive engagement and loyalty. This role is primarily responsible for building the Brand Live Services Strategy to motivate players to engage with NBA 2K by building our player personas, the frameworks behind our Players Lifecycle Journey and delivering content against key moments in the player’s journey by leveraging behavioral and transactional data as well as automation tools to deliver highly personalized messages and content, at scale.

This role will lead the Brand Live Services Strategy for when, where and what content our players see at critical moments in their network progression, across Dynamic Omni Channel Messaging channels.

What You Will Do

  • Lead customer engagement strategy, planning, optimization and measurement across NBA2K and build out customer journeys for the various aspects of the lifecycle based on customer insights and behaviors.
  • Create customer live service frameworks and programs to attracts and retain gamers across NBA2K.
  • Work to both plan the strategic communication and the execution of the program and live service frameworks, ensuring quality deliverables and cohesive journeys for our customers.
  • Partnering with teams to increase the lifetime value of our players by developing strategies that guide how game teams take advantage of the personalization tech and tools available, while looking at future opportunities for optimization.
  • Identifying needs and opportunities that require NBA 2K to enhance and improve its infrastructure and processes via partnership with studio stakeholders.
  • Drive global plan to ensure content briefs and content calendars deliver on live services marketing objectives.
  • Key point of contact for live service strategy programs .
  • Lead the Strategy behind our A/B and/or multivariate testing efforts to gain learnings and optimize the Player Lifecycle.
  • Ensure reporting and analysis are leading to meaningful change across evergreen and campaign-based content.
  • Deep understanding of our player segmentation approach.
  • Develop strategies for reaching cohorts and player segments based on business goals of assigned channels.
  • Be a champion of the live services team and of our players lifecycle journey, elevating the NBA2K Brand and ensuring the highest quality interactions with the customer across all NBA 2K channels.

  • Topical Knowledge – Have a passion for basketball and video gaming. Knowing the NBA and its athletes will be key to developing Brand strategy and growth across social channels while creating content relevant to our community.
