Role Purpose:

Reporting to the Global GTM Director, the successful Senior Manager will play an integral part of the Global marketing function and will be a key advocate and marketing contact for 2K’s territory offices throughout the Americas, Europe and Australia for allocated titles.

As a Senior Manager, Global GTM, you will work hand in hand with other global functions in the development of strategic plans, being the voice and champion for Territory-based marketing teams whilst partnering with them to deliver best-in-class campaigns that meet / exceed KPIs and business goals.

Added responsibilities include pro-actively monitoring campaign performance, conducting sales analysis, managing the marketing communication process and in conjunction with other functions producing and distributing required marketing assets to Territory marketing teams to enable a successful release of each title and a healthy lifecycle thereafter.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Contributing to the development of the Marketing Business Input with the relevant global/territory insights and information to guide the strategy development
  • Be the expert on the nuances of all key market audiences, insights and needs to input into the Global Marketing Strategy and Creative and to support development of the best go to market plans
  • Assist Director of GTM to project manage the marketing project lifecycle, communication and process between Global Marketing and Territory Teams (including global and market presentations); focus coordination and project management on EMEA region
  • Manage individuals or small teams of GTM Managers and Jr GTM Managers, guide the groups thinking and support team growth and learning
  • Build strong relationships with our internal teams and territories, including our brand team to help develop sales promotion assets
  • Coordinate on-going Marketing Spend Effectiveness reviews for each stage of the Campaign pre-launch, launch, sustain and holiday to create an deep understanding of territory performance and areas to optimize efficiency or effectiveness looking at media strategy, social, digital, merchandising, events and other key marketing areas
  • Ensure all marketing materials developed in market are on brand and facilitate approvals with Brand team and other stakeholders as required
  • Partner with commercial planning – in partnership with cross functional teams – to identify current business challenges/opportunities and optimize go to market plans as needed
  • Partner with Global Creative and Brand function to deliver locally relevant creative that addresses defined, and agreed on, business needs

Who We Think Will Be a Great Fit:

  • Minimum 10-12 years of experience driving global or regional marketing strategy and campaigns at a multi-national company - preferably with purview over EMEA and in coordination with marketing colleagues covering North America, Asia or other regional markets;
  • 1-3 years in the video game, entertainment, retail, ecommerce, consumer tech or consumer products goods CPG industries;
  • 1-3 years of direct management experience and understands providing the right level of guidance and autonomy to direct reports who also have a great deal of responsibility;
  • Strong ability to multi-task whilst working with varied timelines/deadlines and monitoring multiple budgets;
  • Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy in recording and reporting;
  • Excellent oral and written communication in English; intermediate or fluent knowledge in another European language highly preferred;
  • Diplomatic communicator and leader, sensitive to cultural differences yet savvy enough to persuade, motivate and regularly help problem-solve and resolve competing or conflicting priorities
  • Must be comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-placed culture; we are growing so rapidly that in many cases we have to “build the plane as we fly”
  • Self-motivated, independent and a flexible, can-do attitude, not happy with complacency
  • Professional and mature attitude with a strong desire to succeed
  • Although not essential, a keen gamer, with knowledge of the video game industry
  • This is a global function and early or late calls will be necessary in order to work with team members around the world, especially those at our Headquarter offices in Novato, California, USA.
