This role is part of the 2K Global Marketing team that is responsible for marketing strategy across all business verticals. We partner across the organization through influence and relationships to orchestrate a unified, effective, and scalable effort. What We Need:

We are looking for a Senior Manager of Global Community Content Strategy to lead the development of a community-driven, player-first strategy and drive growth for 2K’s owned eco-system content initiatives. Reporting into the Global Community and the Influencer Marketing teams, this role will be responsible for enhancing and developing 2K content pipelines built to enhance and educate the player experience to better engage active players, re-engage lapsed players, and acquire new players through positive community-building platforms and deliverables. To deliver on these results, this role will collaborate and align across the Global Communications functions, as well as other CFX teams to develop a holistic point-of-view on community content, platform strategy and delivery models that will lead up to, and through, prioritized game releases and live services. This role will also partner with key members of the Development team, key community advocates and influencers to inform game design, highlight content needs to facilitate clear player education, inform post-launch content calendars, and develop integrated content plans to support releases and other live services programming.

What You Will Do:

  • Partner w/Player Lifecycle Strategy + Community Web Initiatives
  • Manage a community content calendar that clarifies deliverables at key marketing moments and spans across many franchises
  • Create overarching global 2K community content strategies designed to engage active players, re-engage lapsed players, and acquire new players
  • Oversee + develop roadmaps for all 2K-owned content streams that may include Livestreams, Podcasts, YouTube creative support (educational content), Internal VOD needs from external gaming influencers
  • Work closely with territory teams on regional content strategies and deliverables aligned w/global vision
  • Work directly with Community, Social + Digital, Brand, Influencer, Live Service, Communication teams on filling content pipelines at key marketing moments with community focus on positive player engagement
  • Build a strong working relationship with Development teams by attending weekly meetings & communicating on biggest player concerns and needs from a content perspective
  • Ability to report on, track (via platform measurables), and optimize what is working, what is needed and where community content is best performing
  • Ability to prioritize content needs + deliverables on numerous titles and open to collaborating with numerous CFX partners
  • Partner with Brand/Development/Live Service teams to develop strategic insights as to where we should focus community content and why
  • Strong analytical mind who can work to establish content benchmarks and set KPI’s for performance-based executions
  • Have acute awareness of what’s ‘hot’ in the gaming space and work on assuring we have the right content for players in the most relevant gaming platforms
  • Ability to self-create content, edit and potentially host 2K-owned content with strong suite of content and web experience

What Skills Are Needed:

  • We are looking for a GOOD human with a collaborative working style, and one able to manage deadlines and experience in critical community scenarios
  • 4+ years of content, influencer and community experience either as an individual creator (thorough video/audio creation expertise), or as part of a fast-paced, dynamic, consumer-focused company
  • 3+ years of experience working with gaming companies and/or development teams on feedback, content deliverables and/or collaboration with gaming talent
  • Proven leadership and influence with cross-functional, operating teams that focus on positive teamwork, insightfulness and morale
  • Strong analytical skills and business judgment to inform + measure performance against broader community, development + influencer strategies and planning
  • Deep understanding of influencer/community marketing, and a keen understanding of trending community + content platforms and channels is necessary
  • Deep passion for the 2K products, sports and gaming background is preferred
