Who We Are

We are 2K Madrid! A brand new 2K QA studio located near IFEMA in Madrid. We are game testers, and we want to attract top talent from Madrid, Spain and Europe to continue to help our studios make their games as good as they can be.

What We Need

As our QA team needs to grow, we are looking for self-motivated, passionate Senior Localization QA Tester, German speaker, that executes test plans on pre-release versions on software to detect and record product defects. This role will report to Localization QA Lead and/ or Localization QA Associate Lead.

What You Will Do

  • Find and report issues in the game, or through testing directly in the text database.
  • Provide the correct translation, and where applicable fix directly via text database.
  • Stay abreast of all key issues and serve as the “go to” person for the Localization QA Lead.
  • Assist in the creation of Test Plans and Test Cases.
  • Participate in the generation of Daily Reports.
  • Assist Lead and supervise testers, while allocating testing tasks to appropriate testers.
  • Mentor testers to progress to the next level.
  • When applicable, assist Localization QA Lead in communication with outside teams; including QA vendors.
  • Support Lead and/or Manager with the following:
  • Daily Status Reports
  • Creating Test Scripts
  • Keeping Test Scripts current
  • Database Management
  • RTM Checklists
  • Participate in Bug Triages
  • Participate in staff meetings
  • Provide feedback for Performance Reviews

Who We Think Will Be a Great Fit

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in Italian/English
  • Spanish language skills are a plus
  • Knowledge of bug database systems, QA process, test plan creation, bug writing process, and localization process
  • Advanced MS Office suite, Google suite and Outlook skills
  • Technically proficient with PC’s, gaming consoles and related hardware
  • Strong Organizational Skills
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ample problem-solving capabilities
  • Proactive and comfortable asking questions
  • Bachelor diploma or equivalent
  • Desirable experience 2-4 years of QA Localization testing
  • Experience with team development
