What We Need

As a Senior Director of Engineering, you will be leading multiple directors and technologists. We are looking for someone who has experience in leading and building platforms as a product/service. We also would need for this leader to have solid experience in budget management and leading an offshore team. It would be considered a huge plus if you had some gaming experience, but that is not a requirement for the role.

What You Will Do

  • Oversee front-end and back-end development teams and their projects

  • Monitor reliability and performance of all internal systems to suggest improvements

  • Ensure compliance with security regulations

  • Manage software development projects by setting requirements, goals and timelines

  • Prepare and manage the engineering department’s budget

  • Design strategies for future development projects based on the company’s overall objectives and resources

  • Hire, retain and develop engineers

  • Implement innovative technologies

  • Coordinate with external stakeholders for new integrations and tools

  • Review and update policies relevant to internal systems and equipment

Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit

  • Work experience as a director of engineering or in a similar senior-level position at an engineering department (preferable in building platform)

  • Extensive experience in scaling engineering organization with people, processes, and technology

  • Hands-on experience in back-end development and cloud

  • Good understanding of agile methodologies

  • Leadership abilities with a strategic mind

  • Excellent project management skills

  • BSc/MSc in Engineering, Computer Science or relevant field
