OVERVIEW

As our Analytics team continues to grow, we are looking for a self-motivated, passionate QA Tester to validate data pipelines, BI dashboards, and game telemetry to check for errors and report them to our Data Engineering and Data Science teams. You will work closely with our data engineers and data scientists to ensure validity of internal and external data feeds. This is an in office position based in Las Vegas, NV. Reports to a QA Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Validate data pipeline processes and output

  • Validate game telemetry data

  • Verify data quality through manual and automation

  • Verify accuracy and placement of dynamically allocated in-game images

  • Report issues to QA Lead and/or partners

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Technically proficient with PCs, game consoles, and mobile devices

  • Jira (or experience with other issue reporting tools/bug databases)

  • Knowledge on RDBMS [Snowflake, Oracle, MYSQL] and SQL skills

  • Experience with BI tools like Tableau or Qlik

  • Game knowledge and desire to play and learn

  • A positive attitude with the ability to work in a team environment

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum age of 18 years and above

  • 3+ years of QA testing experience

  • Comprehensive understanding of test cycles and processes

  • Reliable, and can be counted on to work all scheduled shifts

  • Capable of working any mandatory overtime; which can occur during the workweek, weekends, and occasional holidays

  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English, in both written and oral forms

  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. occasionally, sit for long periods, and move between floors
