Who We Are:

Mass Media is a group of extremely talented, hard-working individuals with a wealth of experience and a decades-long track record of hitting tough deadlines. Quality engineering is hard to find, and Mass Media prides itself on having a phenomenal team of seasoned veterans. Many of our senior engineers have spent over 20 years working on dozens of platforms ranging from the N64 all the way up to Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5.

Mass Media has contributed to a myriad of 2K titles including Evolve, Mafia III, XCOM 2, XCOM: Chimera Squad, the Borderlands trilogy, and the BioShock trilogy. We make games better – whether that means supporting cross-platform multiplayer, providing console certification expertise, addressing performance bottlenecks, implementing platform-specific features, improving asset pipelines, developing tools, or integrating new libraries like DNA.

Console certification is an area of particular strength, and Mass Media's original Carnival Games was the first 2K title to pass Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft on the first submission. Mass Media's ethos of excellence and flexibility has resulted in satisfied clients, on-time deliveries, and quality games for 25 years and counting.

Mass Media has now been tapped to provide engineering for 2K Global Services. The Global Services Engineering team is a newly-formed centralized team of engineers driving platforms, R&D, and pipeline frameworks to help our studios raise the bars of both quality and productivity. We will be routinely called upon by the groups behind Civilization, Borderlands, Mafia, and others. When some of the best studios in the world have needs, Mass Media will answer the call.
