What We Need:

The Manager of Marketing will play a valued role in driving and supporting Americas marketing strategy, as well as execution of integrated marketing efforts. The role will also help develop go to market plans for each market in the region and work with cross-functional teams to ensure those plans are executed effectively, and are optimized as needed, to meet business and marketing targets.

What You Will Do:

  • Reporting to the Director of Marketing, Americas Core Games, you will be responsible for helping drive marketing strategy and execution for Americas. In addition, you will support the team in:
  • Crafting integrated marketing plans for allocated titles that drive awareness, engagement and purchase intent at launch and throughout product lifecycles.
  • Developing specific marketing plans for in-game events/promotions/partnership activities and crafting the communication and go to market execution plans for each to drive awareness, engagement and sales in Americas.
  • Creating and coordinating, in partnership with Influencer Marketing and Global Brand teams, relevant ideas and activations pertaining to influencers and social media content.
  • Management of marketing budget proposals, demonstrating clear understanding of business targets, audiences and how to reach them, and including ideas for growth that may require more funding or ideas for efficiency or budget reallocation.
  • Developing paid media plans and maintaining a proactive, positive relationship with media agency.
  • Writing media strategy and briefing/handling agencies through creation of full cycle media plans in partnership with Global Brand and Performance Marketing teams. Challenging the agency for more transparency on what is working and what isn’t, with ability to continually optimize away from low impact/efficiency media, as well as driving innovation/media firsts to reach our different audiences in an impactful way.
  • Developing retail/promotional marketing plans in collaboration with Channel/Sales team, driving innovation and ensuring the best possible allocation of budget vs. targets for launch activities and yearly promotional calendars. Partnering with sales and channel team and monitor promotional sales results to ensure targets are being met, takeaways are registered and incorporated into the next promotional plan.
  • Inputting into business targets, promotional pricing plans, digital vs. physical product sales plans and ensuring translation into relevant marketing plans/actions.
  • Liaising between media and creative teams to build relevant Americas assets for paid media and retail campaigns within required timelines while ensuring relevant, contextual and ‘on brand’ creative is delivered. Lead to rethink our retail creative and drive awareness of the promotion/sale without diluting the brand of each game.
  • Contributing to global marketing strategies, ensuring Americas requirements are being met.
  • Collaborating closely with Performance Marketing, Commercial and Analytics teams to mine data and insight into game behaviors, sales achievement, audience/consumer behaviors, paid media critical metrics, creative usage/engagement and CRM results in each relevant territory, developing actions for marketing to continuously optimize and strive to exceed targets.

  • Provide timely updates, assets and direction, along with running timelines to ensure all milestones are achieved throughout planning and execution phases.

  • Experience in all major areas of marketing preferred, including online and offline, brand and product marketing, search, CRM, social media, communications and influencer marketing
  • Experience developing regional marketing strategies based on global brand framework
  • Experience strategizing and executing paid media campaigns, with experience leading media agency from client side preferred.
  • Experience strategizing and executing retail marketing campaigns
  • Above average knowledge of video games
  • Ability to seamlessly integrate into existing marketing team and build trust and credibility with product development, commercial and other internal and external partners
  • BA / BS and MBA preferred
